FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Volume Studios was founded in 2015 by industrial designer Todd Herlitz. With 20 years of product development experience, Todd has worked for high-profile design consulting groups in Boston and Chicago, and also in-house at major brands like Hasbro and, most recently, Radio Flyer where he was Design Director. That means a history of working with brands like Microsoft, P&G, and Motorola as a consultant, plus in-house experience developing Visual Brand Language, working with Engineering & Marketing teams, and most importantly leading the design of real products that ship.

SENIOR INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER
Hudson Rio has worked as a product designer in Chicago for brands such as Weber, Hamilton Beach, Genfare, and Midmark. He has a wide range of experience in different categories including housewares, medical, and commercial products. He also has a passion for design education, and has taught design drawing at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a true car enthusiast, and when not working, will be found either sketching cars or racing his own.

Mike Grady is a recent alumnus from the Rochester Institute of Technology. While completing his degree, he worked with Syracuse-based designer, Len Nicholas, as well as a variety of companies, designing products ranging from toys to precision technologies. He has worked with clients such as Hasbro, Spin Master, Fisher-Price, Allegion, and Six15 Technologies. Additionally, he has non-profit experience, working with the with the Ganondagan State Historic Site to explore developing improved seating for park visitors.
In his off-time, Mike enjoys watching cartoons and dabbling in other areas of imaging arts, such as character design, anatomical illustration, and concept art.
